    che, il cui (i cui, la cui, le cui) il quale (i quali-la quale le quali) (that-which-whose)

    chi (who)

    Examples: non so che stai facendo (o non so che cosa stai facendo o non so cosa stai facendo) (I don't know what you are doing), Paolo (PAolo) è il padrone del cane che ti ha morso o è il padrone il cui cane ti ha morso (Paul is the owner of the dog that has bitten you), la signora, la cui figlia è sposata con Marco, ti vuole parlare (the lady, whose daugther is married to Mark, wants to speak to you), la signora con cui parlo (o con la quale) parlo è greca (The lady I am speaking to is Greek), vorrei sapere di chi è questo libro (I would like to know whose book this is), dimmi con chi parlavi ieri sera (tell me whom you spoke to yesterday), non so chi sia quello straniero (I don't know who that foreigner is).

Di chi è questo portafoglio? (Whose is that wallet?) Che (o quale) colore ti piace di più, quello rosso o quello blù? (Which color do you like most? The red one or that blue one?) Qual'è il prezzo di questa casa? (What is the price of that house?) Quali sono i tuoi figli? (Which are your sons?), Quale preferisci, la rosa rossa o quella bianca? (Is your ring made of platinum?), il cielo è azzurro e le nubi (o nuvole-NUvole) sono bianche (the sky is blue and the clouds are white), i limoni sono gialli, ma i piselli sono verdi (lemons are yellow, but peas are green), la bandiera italiana è verde, bianca e rossa (the Italian flag is green, white and red), la bandiera americana è di stelle e strisce (the American flag is with stars and stripes).
