  • Balsamic String Beans

    • 1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons butter
    • 3 tablespoons and 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
    • 3 tablespoons and 1 1/2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
    • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 3 pounds string beans blanched for about 4 minutes
    Melt butter with oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Stir in balsamic vinegar, garlic, oregano, and string beans. Sauté for about 15 minutes or until tender. Serve warm or room temperature.
