  • Green Beans

    • 3 cans of green beans
    • 1/2 pound of pancetta or regular bacon
    • 2 cans of mushroom bits and pieces are okay
    • 1 teaspoon garlic
    • Salt & pepper to taste
    • Butter
    Drain the green beans and mushrooms. Cut up bacon into about 1-inch pieces. Put green beans in pot with butter and heat till butter is melted. Add mushrooms. In another pan lightly cook bacon stirring before it is crisp. Add to the beans and mushrooms. Add the garlic, salt and pepper to taste and cook at least 35 minutes on medium heat. Serve warm.
