  • Pasta and Peas

    • 1 pound of pasta preferably small shells
    • 1/2 cup olive oil
    • 1 large onion
    • 1 can of peas
    • Salt
    • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    Bring water to a boil and add shells. While the shells are cooking get a sauce pan and add oil and sliced or diced onions. Cook until the onion is clear and add peas. Add crushed red pepper. Add salt & pepper to taste. When the pasta is fully cooked drain 1/2 of the water and add the pea mixture. Eat and enjoy. These recipes came from my grandmother, I am proud to share them with the world.
