Grandma's Struffoli |

Ingredients |
- 4 cups flour
- Orange blossom honey
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- Multi-color sprinkles
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup Wesson vegetable oil
- 6 eggs
- *Wesson oil - enough for deep frying

Preparation |
Make a well of flour, baking powder & salt. Beat eggs one at a time in the center of the well and blend with a fork. Moisten with 1/4 cup oil. Mix gently. Place dough on cutting board, knead 3 or 4 times. Divide dough and roll into strips (like snakes). Cut dough in 1/4" -1/2" pieces. Place cut pieces into hot oil and deep fry until golden. Remove and drain on paper towel. Store cooled struffoli in a plastic container until serving. To serve place in serving dish, pour desired amount of honey on struffoli, toss gently and add sprinkles. Enjoy! |
