Italian American Heisman Trophy Winners
Each year one collegiate football player is selected by a panel of voters as the nation's most outstanding college football player and the recipient of the Heisman Trophy. Since its inception in 1935 eight Italian-Americans have won this prestigious award and join an elite club that only has less than one hundred members. Below is a list of those Italian-American winners, which includes the year they won the award, the college they attended and the position they played. If there is a winner of Italian heritage that I have failed to include please send me an email.
